The Third Eye is the sixth chakra and it is found two fingers above the bridge of the nose.
This chakra allows us to see through lies and get to the truth, being the link between our minds
and a higher conciousness. This is where we develop our intuition and perception; you will begin
to see clearly the cause and effect between relationships, events and people. Here we also develop
wisdom and open up to the highest most divine knowledge, eventually becoming spititually aware.
Through this chakra we are able to enter a different dimension of vibrant colour; it is here that
we can communicate with our angel friends and loved ones, walking with our guides as we learn the knowledge
of the universe. It is a place of perfect wisdom, love and tranquility, where the pattern of one's own
life is bypassed by the need to comprehend the universal patterns of existence. We now see life from
a spiritual perspective.
Blockages make us introspective, resistant to new ideas and concepts; we become nervous and
our attitude becomes rigid and inflexible, our behaviour following a fixed routine. We can also
tend to see everything through rose-tinted glasses, and are not totally focused on what is happening
around us.
Associated crystals include quartz (helps speed up healing, and is used in meditation); also
rose quartz (helps return the balance of unconditional love and compassion). Meditation
clears blockages and helps us to regain a truer perspective.
