Design work is carried out in phases, in an order previously agreed with the Client. As each
design phase is completed, design proofs and/or samples are temporarily published either on the Client's site or on
part of the ComeUpSmiling website, and are then subject to the Client's approval.
For sites where the deposit for a particular design phase is less than £500,
then if you are not fully satisfied with our design work within 30 days of completion of that phase, and we are
not able to rectify the situation to your satisfaction, ComeUpSmiling will promptly refund money paid in respect
of that particular design phase (less any amounts already paid by ComeUpSmiling to Third Parties e.g domain
name registration).
For sites where the deposit for a particular design phase is equal to or more than £500,
due to the complexity of such sites and the amount of work involved, then £500 from
the deposit for that phase is non-refundable and is thus NOT included in our design guarantee; however, this amount is
considered to cover any associated third-party costs paid during that design phase by ComeUpSmiling.
Any design work completed by ComeUpSmiling remains the property of ComeUpSmiling Ltd
(normally until full payment is received). Consequently, should the guarantee be actioned,
subsequent use by the Client of the unpaid component of our design work/samples is absolutely prohibited.
Generally, the initial deposit (Design Phase 1) will be made up of agreed third party costs
(e.g. web hosting etc) plus 30% of web design costs. Thus an initial deposit would only be equal to or exceed
£500 for sites involving a database or large/complex websites.
